Corn in Husk
Grill can be setup direct or indirect (with or without heat deflector plates) for corn and heat to between 350 – 450 degrees Fahrenheit / 175 – 230 degrees Celsius (Chose the temperature that best suits the main dish you’re cooking with it)
Peel back corn husk without removing and wash all silt (stringy white bits) away. Rub corn with a little butter and salt and pepper to taste. Pull husk back over corn and use with butcher twine or one leaf of the husk to tie the remaining husk together at the top.
Place corn directly on grill (350 -450(f) / 175- 230(c)) for approx 15 – 25 minutes (plus or minus based on heat). Rotate a couple of times while cooking.
Work hard to find corn still in the husk – if you can’t you can put corn directly on grill or wrap in foil.
Use a healthier spread instead of butter and limit the amount of salt used. Corn (and other veggies) are high in fibre and vitamins. At least half of your plate at each lunch and dinner should be made up of veggies or salad.
